Choose a GUI client for your operating system, or download the Mihomo core for a server or router. Confirm the platform, processor architecture, and package format before downloading.

Client versions are read automatically from the release manifest. When a version slot is empty, its label is hidden, while the download button still keeps the complete file link from the current manifest.
WINDOWS
For standard PCs, choose the x64 installer. A Clash Verge Rev Windows ARM64 package is not listed here; on ARM devices, check whether another client offers a matching build.

MACOS
Check your chip in About This Mac. Choose Apple Silicon for M1, M2, M3, M4, and other Apple-chip models; choose Intel or x64 for Intel Macs.

ANDROID
Most recent phones and tablets use ARM64. Choose ARM for older 32-bit devices; if you cannot determine the architecture, use the Universal package for Clash Meta for Android.

IOS
On iOS, install Clash Plus directly from the App Store. Open the app, import a configuration, and follow the system prompt to allow a VPN configuration.

MIHOMO CORE
Mihomo is intended for servers, routers, containers, and users who maintain configuration files themselves. Most computer and phone users should use a GUI client above.

Confirm the CPU architecture and service manager first. Extract the core, prepare a configuration directory, and start it from the command line with the configuration path specified. For long-running use, configure systemd or another service manager and restrict configuration-file permissions.
For routers, also check libc, the floating-point ABI, available storage, and firmware plugin requirements. A device name alone does not identify the right build; read the architecture in the device terminal before downloading.
Choosing a client
When several clients are available for one platform, you do not need to install them all. Choose one maintained GUI client that fits your system, verify the configuration and connection, and then decide whether to migrate.
On Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, start with Clash Plus. It covers common platforms and includes subscription import, policy selection, system proxy controls, and connection status. On the Linux desktop, start with Clash Verge Rev; compare FlClash when you want a similar cross-platform interface.
If you already use Clash for Windows or ClashX Meta, the legacy client can still read existing configurations. Before migrating, record the subscription URL, mixed port, proxy mode, current proxy-group selection, override rules, and DNS settings. Restore them one by one in the new client, and never enable system proxy or TUN in both clients at once to avoid port and routing conflicts.
The Mihomo core is not a required add-on for ordinary clients. Most GUI clients already bundle or manage the core they need. Download Mihomo separately only for servers, routers, automated environments, or command-line operation.
Windows and Linux also require checking architectures such as x64 and ARM64; macOS requires distinguishing Apple Silicon from Intel; Android devices usually use ARM64.
EXE, DMG, DEB, and RPM fit standard installation workflows on their respective systems. ZIP and GZ are better suited to manual directory management or command-line deployment.
Installation does not establish a connection by itself. Import a valid subscription or local configuration, update it, choose a policy, and enable the appropriate system traffic-handling method.
After downloading
Before migrating, disable the old client’s system proxy, TUN, and service mode, then exit it. If two clients listen on the same port, the new client may fail to start, the system proxy may still point to the old port, or traffic may switch repeatedly between two routing rule sets.
A Windows installer may request administrator approval; macOS requires moving the app to Applications; Android and iOS show a system VPN request on first connection; Linux desktop packages must be installed through the appropriate package manager.
Paste the address on the client’s subscription or configuration page, save it, and run an update. Confirm that the configuration name, proxy groups, and rules are present. If importing fails, check that the address is complete, the system clock is correct, and the current network can reach the subscription source.
For everyday use, start with Rule mode so traffic follows the configured rules. The system proxy works for browsers and apps that honor system settings; TUN captures more traffic but requires extra permissions and may conflict with other VPNs, virtual network adapters, or security software.
Download issues
Check the platform and architecture first, then troubleshoot installation permissions, configuration import, and connectivity. A failed download and a failed connection usually belong to different troubleshooting layers.
For everyday desktop and mobile use, choose a client with a graphical interface. On Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, start with Clash Plus; on the Linux desktop, choose Clash Verge Rev. The Mihomo core is better suited to servers, routers, and users who maintain configuration files themselves.
The EXE installer is best for a standard setup and creates an application folder and uninstall entry. ZIP is better for users who manage the program folder manually, but shortcuts, updates, and startup behavior are then your responsibility. EXE is recommended for a first installation.
Choose Apple Silicon or ARM64 for Macs with M1, M2, M3, M4, or other Apple chips; choose Intel or x64 for older Intel Macs. Check the chip or processor on the About This Mac page.
Most recent Android phones and tablets use ARM64. Older 32-bit devices may require ARM. If you are unsure, choose the Universal package, though it is usually larger. Before installing, uninstall an older app with the same name but a different signature, or keep the original and use a different client.
A client only runs your configuration. After installation, import a valid subscription or local profile, update its contents, choose an available policy, and enable the system proxy or TUN as needed. If access still fails, check the configuration, policy selection, DNS, port conflicts, and system permissions in that order.
Mihomo parses configuration and forwards traffic, usually running through a command line, service manager, or router plugin. A GUI client adds subscription management, policy switching, log viewing, and system proxy controls. For most computer and phone users, a GUI client is more convenient.
